Jim Glidewell, CDT

Jim Glidewell is the founder and president of Glidewell, the world’s largest privately owned provider of restorative dental solutions. In 1970, Mr. Glidewell officially opened his lab to the public. Although his company initially started on his kitchen table, Jim applied a unique combination of technical knowledge, business principles, and marketing philosophies to quickly grow Glidewell into the recognized dental industry leader that it is today.

Glidewell CEO Stephenie Goddard is an executive leader with multidisciplinary experience in organizational development, business strategy, change management, customer experience and digital transformation. She joined Glidewell in 2006 as vice president of human resources, establishing various programs that have served to augment the company’s relentless expansion. In 2019, Goddard established the Guiding Leaders program to empower women dentists throughout the United States in all facets of business and leadership. The following year she received the Mentor Award from The Lucy Hobbs Project® (Benco Dental Supply Co.; Pittston, Pa.).

Brittany Bergeron

Brittany Bergeron, DDS

Dr. Brittany Bergeron obtained her BA in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross before continuing her education at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2013. She served as the 2019 president of the American Association of Women Dentists in addition to serving on their board of directors for over 10 years. Dr. Bergeron currently serves on the board of directors for Dental Entrepreneur Woman and is an active member in the ICD, ADA and AAFE. Dr. Bergeron graduated from the ADA Institute for Diversity in Leadership in 2022 and the Glidewell Guiding Leaders program in 2023. Dr. Bergeron is a solo practitioner at the office she owns in Towson, MD, where she focuses on dynamic patient care through patient education and dental technology.

Bhumika Patel, DDS

Dr. Bhumika Patel completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at North Central College. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded a certificate for the highest distinction in Biology for the class of 2006. During her undergraduate education, Dr. Patel also served as President of the Pre‑Health Organization. Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She has also completed extensive continuing education in dental implants, oral sedation, and Invisalign®. She worked as a dentist for four years at a dental office in Elgin, IL. She has also provided dental services to the underserved population in West Chicago. Dr. Patel opened her dental practice in December 2014. She is fluent in four languages—English, Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati—and is grateful to serve diverse patients. She is also an active member of the dental community and has memberships in the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. She graduated from Guiding Leader in 2025. 

SETAREH LAVASANI, DDS, MS

Dr. Setareh Lavasani is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, educator, and international speaker recognized for her expertise in advanced imaging and dental radiology. She serves as Associate Professor and Director of Oral Radiology & Advanced Imaging at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lavasani earned her specialty certificate and master’s degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and has presented at more than 60 national and international scientific meetings. A leader in organized dentistry, she contributes to major organizations including the AAOMR and ADEA, serves on the board of the Global Dental Implant Academy, and is a member of Leading Ladies in Dentistry. She is also a published author, associate editor, and recognized among the “40 Under 40” top dental specialists, reflecting her commitment to advancing education, innovation, and excellence in dental imaging. She graduated from Guiding Leader in 2025.

Dr. Paulisick is the proud owner of Longboard Dental, a state-of-the-art dental practice in Charleston, SC. She graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2011 and has become a fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Paulisick was honored as Benco Dental’s 40 under 40 best dentist in the United States. She has served as the lead dentist for the nonprofit ECCO dental clinic in Charleston and remains on as an adjunct faculty member for the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine in South Carolina. Her practice philosophy is to provide exceptional dental care in an anxiety-reducing space, utilizing the best available technology. She graduated Guiding Leaders in 2024

Bianca Clark, DDS

A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Dr. Bianca Clark is a cosmetic and biomimetic dentist known for her expertise in complex printed restorations. An attendee of the Kois Center, Dr. Clark has achieved mastership in biomimetic dentistry, reflecting her dedication to conservative, patient-centered care. She believes in the advancement of digital design and 3D printing, aiming to create lasting, natural results. An engaging and dynamic speaker, Dr. Clark brings her enthusiasm to audiences across the industry, using her voice to share the benefits of digital dentistry while emphasizing the core values of preservation and excellence. She graduated Guiding Leaders in 2024.

DAR RADFAR, DDS

Dr. Dar Radfar (“Dr. Rad”) is a Thousand Oaks–based dentist, international speaker, and leading expert in dental sleep medicine, known for his work in treating sleep apnea, snoring, and whole-patient wellness. A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, he brings over 23 years of clinical experience and has treated more than 5,000 patients with sleep-related disorders. A Diplomate of the American Sleep & Breathing Academy, Dr. Radfar is the founder of RAD Health Inc., creator of the “Rad ZZZ” sleep system, and developer of the “RAD Method” for comprehensive dental sleep care. After surviving a life-threatening, sleep-apnea-related car accident, he dedicated his career to advancing sleep wellness and educating dentists on integrating sleep medicine into practice, having trained over 3,000 clinicians worldwide. Known as the “Sleep Dentist,” he blends clinical innovation, technology, and practice growth strategies to help dentists expand their impact and improve patient lives. He graduated from Guiding Leader in 2025.

Bobbie Norton

Twenty-eight years ago, Bobbie Norton began her career in dentistry as an RDA, gaining hands-on experience in oral surgery, orthodontics, and prosthodontics. Over the past 15 years at Glidewell, Bobbie’s passion for fostering meaningful industry connections has culminated in her current role as director of strategic partner relations. Utilizing strategic insights, she has collaborated on initiatives like the wildly successful Dentistry on the Rise symposium and the Guiding Leaders program. As the director of Guiding Leaders, Bobbie’s work centers on empowering and mentoring dental professionals, helping them navigate their careers while developing essential leadership skills. With four cohorts of Guiding Leaders under her belt, Bobbie brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by practitioners today.

ERIC JOHNSON, DDS

Dr. Eric Johnson is a nationally recognized dentist, speaker, and leader known for blending clinical excellence with a deeply human approach to care. Although accepted into medical school in 1997, he chose dentistry to pursue his passion for creating confident, life-changing smiles. An honors graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, he earned top academic and clinical distinctions while ranking among the highest in his class for patient care. He has completed extensive postdoctoral training in advanced aesthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry, including specialized training in temporomandibular disorders, porcelain veneers, and prosthodontics. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he received the Commendation Medal for meritorious service. Dr. Johnson has been widely recognized as a Top Dentist by the Consumers’ Research Council of America, OC Metro, and Orange Coast Magazine, and ranks among the top 10% of dentists in the region. His work has gained international attention, including completing a smile makeover for Sultan Kösen, the world’s tallest man, in just seven days. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Pepperdine University and recently earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, reflecting his commitment to leadership and lifelong growth. Deeply dedicated to service, he has supported communities locally and globally through outreach and education, and outside of dentistry, he is an Ironman finisher, photographer, and lifelong advocate for personal excellence.

Jinny Bender, DMD

Dr. Jinny Bender is a clinical dentist at Glidewell. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, she practiced general dentistry for 27 years before joining Glidewell. She advises dentists on utilizing digital workflows, including the glidewell.io™ system. Dr. Bender is also a member of the ADA, CDA and Orange County Dental Society. She graduated Guiding Leaders in 2022.

Christina Do

Christina Do, DDS

A graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Chistina Do practices general dentistry in Cosa Mesa, California. She specializes in dental laser technology and is a top five producer with the fastmill.io™ In-Office Mill. Additionally, she is a lecturer and researcher for BIOLASE® and sits on the executive board of the Coleman Research Group. Dr. Do graduated Guiding Leaders in 2022. She was president of the Orange County Dental Association in 2024.

Dr. Manalili

Taylor Manalili, DDS

Dr. Taylor Manalili is director of clinical prosthodontics at Glidewell. Since joining Glidewell in 2018 as the company’s first-ever Fellow, she has conducted clinical research and performed advanced restorative work, including implant placement, chairside restorations and full-mouth rehabilitations. Dr. Manalili earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as a certificate in the advanced specialty of prosthodontics from Stony Brook University. Throughout her residency, Dr. Manalili served as a clinical instructor for predoctoral students, and provided lectures to students, residents and local dentists.

DANIELLE BROWN, DDS

Dr. Danielle Brown joined Glidewell in 2024 after seven years in private practice, throughout which she focused on esthetic dentistry. She graduated from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC in 2016. Dr. Brown served five years on the board of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society and earned the “Top 40 Under 40” award from the National Dental Association in 2023. She has also worked in low-income communities and is currently on the New Dentist Committee, where she champions the integration of technology to streamline daily workflows and assist career advancements. Dr. Brown graduated Guiding Leaders in 2023.
