Participate in a full day of fast-paced presentations designed to help you achieve success in treatment planning, creating and delivering complete dentures. Using a concise, powerful format, these inspiring and practical presentations will cover an array of topics, such as assessing, treatment planning and impression taking; protocol for reestablishing natural tooth position; and clinical requirements for overdentures. In addition, a live patient demonstration will detail the simplified clinical procedures for achieving optimal results.

The curriculum is crafted to provide fresh information for clinicians at any stage of their careers — from dentists just starting out to those experienced in prosthetic dentistry.

Neil Park, DMD

Dr. Neil Park is scientific chair of the Glidewell Symposium and Glidewell’s vice president of clinical affairs. After receiving his DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry, he practiced dentistry for 12 years before beginning his career in the dental implant field. Dr. Park has held top leadership positions at companies such as Nobel Biocare and Henry Schein, and he is recognized for his work in the creation and management of innovative programs designed to bring new technology to private practitioners. He joined Glidewell in 2016, where he oversees clinical research & development, as well as training and education programs in implant, restorative and esthetic dentistry. In addition, he serves as editor-in-chief of Chairside® magazine. He is a Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Jim Glidewell, CDT

Jim Glidewell is the founder and president of Glidewell, the world’s largest privately owned provider of restorative dental solutions. In 1970, Mr. Glidewell officially opened his lab to the public. Although his company initially started on his kitchen table, Jim applied a unique combination of technical knowledge, business principles, and marketing philosophies to quickly grow Glidewell into the recognized dental industry leader that it is today.

 

Still driven by his mission to make rehabilitative dentistry affordable to all, Mr. Glidewell employs a diverse team of over 4,000 employees. Stephenie Goddard

Stephenie Goddard, M.S.

Glidewell CEO Stephenie Goddard is an executive leader with multidisciplinary experience in organizational development, business strategy, change management, customer experience and digital transformation. She joined Glidewell in 2006 as vice president of human resources, establishing various programs that have served to augment the company’s relentless expansion. In 2019, she established the Guiding Leaders program to empower women dentists throughout the United States in all facets of business and leadership, and the following year she received the Mentor Award from The Lucy Hobbs Project® (Benco Dental Supply Co.; Pittston, Pa.).
Dr. Manalili

Taylor Manalili, DDS

Dr. Taylor Manalili is director of clinical prosthodontics at Glidewell. Since joining Glidewell in 2018 as the company’s first-ever Fellow, she has conducted clinical research and performed advanced restorative work, including implant placement, chairside restorations and full-mouth rehabilitations. Dr. Manalili earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as a certificate in the advanced specialty of prosthodontics from Stony Brook University. Throughout her residency, Dr. Manalili served as a clinical instructor for predoctoral students, and provided lectures to students, residents and local dentists.

Patricia Swanson

Patricia Swanson, DDS, FACP

Dr. Patricia Swanson is the director of predoctoral prosthodontics at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. She earned her DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, and then earned her certificate in the advanced specialty of prosthodontics from Stony Brook University. Dr. Swanson has performed research in dental cements and implants, and she has a special interest in removable prosthodontics. She maintains a faculty practice in prosthodontics in Stony Brook, New York, and she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Raymond Choi, DDS, M.S.

Dr. Raymond Choi holds a DDS and a master’s degree in geriatric dentistry from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC where he is currently serving as an adjunct assistant professor. He has extensive experience in both surgical and restorative aspects of implant overdentures and has been teaching implants for over 20 years.

Robert Brenneise is the Chief Growth Officer at Glidewell. He has more than 25 years of experience in the implementation and development of sales strategy for some of the most well-known brands in the dental industry. His new initiatives at the company include leading its approach to elevating same-day dentistry through the glidewell.io™ In-Office Solution.

Sree Koka

Sree Koka, DDS, PH.D.

Dr. Sreenivas “Sree” Koka is the dean of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. After receiving a DDS and M.S. in prosthodontics from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, he earned a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska as well as an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the Academy of Prosthodontics, Dr. Koka has received numerous Outstanding Teacher of the Year awards and the Margaret L.A. MacVicar Award from the MIT Alumni Association. He has given more than 180 invited presentations at national and international dentistry meetings, and is the author or coauthor of 105 articles in peer-reviewed professional publications.

Elizabeth Carr

ELIZABETH CARR, DHA, MDA, RDH

Elizabeth Carr is chair of dental hygiene and director of the Population Oral Health Collaborative at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) School of Dentistry. She earned both a baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene and a doctorate degree in health administration from the UMMC School of Dentistry, as well as a master’s degree in dental hygiene from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. A native of the Mississippi Delta, Carr worked in private practice as a registered dental hygienist before joining the UMMC School of Dentistry’s dental hygiene department as a full-time instructor in 2006.

Danielle Brown

DANIELLE BROWN, DDS

Dr. Danielle Brown joined Glidewell in 2024 after seven years in private practice, where she focused on esthetic dentistry. She graduated from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2016. Dr. Brown served five years on the board of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society and earned the “Top 40 Under 40” award from the National Dental Association in 2023. She has also worked in low-income communities and is currently on the New Dentist Committee, where she champions the integration of technology to enhance careers and streamline daily practices. Dr. Brown graduated Guiding Leaders in 2023.

Steven Laguna

Steven Laguna, CDT

Steven Laguna, a USAF veteran, has worked at Glidewell for 23 years and is currently the general manager of the combo and partial denture department. He has personally finished more than 60,000 partial dentures and overseen quality control of more than 300,000 combo and partial cases. He manages a removables team of 100 technicians and is highly experienced in all aspects of denture production.
